Its exceptional character comes as much from its taste as from the origin of its conception. This Champagne was indeed one of the only official Champagnes of the visit of Pope John Paul II to Reims.
The Cuvée d’Exception is a brut Champagne that benefits from a 9-year cellar aging. It has thus developed a more evolved, very intense apple aroma. Composed of 55% Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, and 15% Chardonnay, its taste has been designed as a tribute to Poland and offers a sweet, maderized taste, an orange robe, like an “art de vivre”. This exceptional Cuvée was served at the table of Pope John Paul II during his visit to Reims, for the 1500th anniversary of the baptism of Clovis. In memory of this exceptional moment, the bottle of Cuvée d'Exception bears the unique official stamp.
Good to know: For a sweet taste, the Cuvée Gourmande is also your ally.
